V. Mert Gyundyuz (born 1985, Bulgaria) grew up in Turkey in a medically oriented family from 1991 onwards. She completed her dental studies at Istanbul University (2002–2007) and subsequently obtained her PhD in endodontics. In Istanbul, she worked as an endodontist and general practitioner.
She has been based in the Netherlands for several years. In 2018, she passed the entrance exams at ACTA and has been officially registered with the BIG (Individual Healthcare Professions Act) since March 2019. She is an active member of various national and international professional associations, including the KNMT (Royal Dutch Dental Association), NVvE (Dutch Dental Association), ESE (Emergency Medical Examination), KRT (Royal Dutch Dental Association), and the Turkish Endodontic Society.
Her passion for dentistry stems from her predilection for combining art and medicine. As an endodontist with broad academic and clinical interests, she emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and high-quality patient care.
